Our Process

Cannavite’s approach to the improvement of health is through the application of a systematic approach, using a customised combination of products best suited to your condition. We will provide you with a questionnaire that must be completed before we begin. This ensures that we have a thorough understanding of the health challenges that you face, as well as any medication or supplementation you are currently taking. This process helps us to make the correct product suggestions for your wellbeing, and a successful outcome.

All the Cannavite products are formulated with pure cannabis extract and contain a minimum of 9 different strains. The combinations are changed regularly to incorporate newer research findings and to maximise your response.

The products include a full range of cannabinoids. For example: CBD. CBN. CBC. etc. We also include Terpenes. The reason? Unlike oils that consist of single cannabinoids (such as pure CBD oils) the combined impact of multi cannabinoid dosing has been shown in research to be more effective in healing the body.

Many products out there are single-strain and extracted using powerful solvents like benzene, which are toxic. Our extraction process uses a combination of C02 and food-grade bio-ethanol, which ensures an extract of exceptional quality. Our lab is FDA approved & certified which allows for trading in the USA and elsewhere. All of the extracts are combined with a carrier substance, either coconut oil or glycerine base. This improves the absorption of the extracted cannabinoids by the body.

Cannavite uses a micro-dosing approach. This allows the body to adapt to the products in a gentle way and ensures a gradual, more effective response. This also prevents desensitization of the cell receptors, avoiding a subsequent less-optimal response. Research has confirmed regular micro-dosing to be more beneficial than taking a full strength extract.

Conditions

Conditions which respond to micro-dosing of multi-strain cannabinoids are extremely diverse.

There are four accepted indications where the medical world has been unanimous in its support for cannabis treatment:

  1. Pain management - it has been found that pain management is as effective as being treated by opioids, but without the danger of becoming dependent on the treatment, as is the case with opioids.
  2. Spasticity, especially when associated with cerebral palsy and injuries of the nervous system.
  3. Where traditional medication to combat nausea after chemotherapy has been shown to be ineffective - a better anti-emetic response has been shown from cannabis treatment.
  4. Cannabis has been proven to be more efficient than many standard anti-epileptic drugs.

About the Endocannabinoid System (ECS)

The fairly recent discovery of the human Endocannabinoid system - CB1 and CB2 - has allowed us to much better understand why the various cannabinoids found in the cannabis plant have such a beneficial impact on our health.

The ECS compromises 2 systems – CB1 impacts primarily the central nervous system and CB2 the peripheral body, in other words, everything else. Their role in our bodies is to promote what is called homeostasis, or good health.

What is not commonly known is the human body produces its own cannabinoids (Anandamide and 2-Arachidonoylglycerol / 2AG). When these are deficient the body loses homeostasis, and becomes ill. The good news is that the cell receptors in CB1 and CB2 respond extremely well to plant-based cannabinoids. These promote homeostasis in the body and start to restore your health and vitality.
